WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP! Ever since I first heard Freddi "Love" Gowdy back in the 1970s with Freddi Henchi I've wanted to work with him. We got the first chance in 2010 when I came back to Colorado during my treatment in Houston for leukemia to play a benefit for a hospital with Chris Daniels & The Kings Fred came to help me sing because I was too weak to get through the whole gig. We've been friends for 40 years and I think he has a voice that rivals Ray Charles or Marvin Gaye and he is one of the most soulful performers I've ever known. In 2011 after meeting up at the Colorado Music Hall of Fame we decided to start singing together. Fred inducted me into the CMHOF in 2013 and I hope I get the chance to do that for him soon.
